Instruments

Generally speaking it is a good idea to bring your own instruments with you, however if this is not posible the studio has a number of items available for use when needed. These include a Samick electric guitar, a Yamaha acoustic guitar and a De-Ville bass.

Amps and fx

For electric guitar we have a Marshall JVM215c combo, this amp does everything from sparkling cleans, to full on high gain sounds and everything in between.

We also have a Digitech 2112 tube guitar preamp and multi-effects processor, this is the best sounding guitar fx unit we have ever heard (and believe me we've recorded most of them).

Bass guitars can be recorded using your own amp/stack or recorded either directly using our Drawmer 1969 valve preamp/compressor or our 1960s Rock Amplifier Company Studio Bass amp (superb sounding amplifier donated by the late John Entwhistle - best known as the Bass Guitarist for The Who).
