Farmyard Studios owner and in house Sound Engineer and Producer Simon Plater:

Simon is a skilled musician/producer and has an extensive and detailed knowledge of sound recording and post production equipment and techniques.
It was Simons frustration at the apparent in-existence of a decent yet affordable recording facility to use for his own projects, that finally convinced him in autumn 1998 that the time was right to set up Farmyard Studios.
Simon takes an efficient yet relaxed approach to the recording process, since he believes that being pushy and authoritarian like so many engineers/producers, only acts to increase tension and suppress creativity. After all, the customer usually knows what is desired for a project and the engineer/producer should simply be there to help achieve this
